Designed and developed new corporate website to provide an information source to an international group of physicians. Goal was to properly and professionally provide corporate visibility in a highly competitive medical market. Planned and coordinated the design and development, using Web 2.0 infrastructure, W3C standards for HTML and CSS, and optimized graphics.

IRIDEX CORP

Coordinated the redesign and layout of Iridex new corporate website. Worked with one other web designer and in-house IT manager on the project. Built event tracking system designed especially for Iridex's core needs. Improved tradeshow processes and communication for marketing and sales.

Chess.com is an online community web site, dedicated to chess players around the world. With over 400,000 members now, it is a proven success. The Varsity Zone

The Varsity Zone is an online community web site, dedicated to high school athletes. It bridges the gap between college recruiters and high school athletes looking for an opportunity. Designed and developed new web site for the State of Oregon. Architected a common environment for over 150 agencies and divisions to increase the usability of the site. Site is maintained by Interwoven TeamSite Content Management System.

MTV Stacked

Provided technical consultation on the website design and solution to provide a rich auxiliary user experience outside the game. Planned and coordinated live Stacked press events and tournaments in Las Vegas and other locations to increase user awareness and branding. Concept development for building a large online community and an ongoing series of competitive MTV Stacked tournaments to be covered and aired on MTV.

VISUAL CONCEPTS / 2K SPORTS

Coordinated all aspects of the 2004 Remington Titanium ESPN NFL 2K5 Bowl. Players registered, qualified, and competed in an online competition. Four finalists were flown to L.A. to compete for $10,000 first place prize. Coordinated all aspects of Nokia NBA 2K5 Championships (http://nokia.nba2k5.com). Same setup as Titanium Bowl.

Drafted proposals for key sponsors in future events, and was able to secure the contract with Pontiac to have 2K Sports be their solution in 2006 for NCAA March Madness. Developed web-based tournament support system to manage the events. Managed small support team to handle player questions and complaints.

WHOLESALE CHESS

Worked directly with founder and president of Wholesale Chess to build a proprietary ecommerce business solution using mainly PHP and MySQL. Custom shopping cart solution integrated with UPS and US Postal shipping APIs. Robust backend toolkit to manage products, prices, mailings, web site organization, Froogle.com integration, search engine optimization, order processing, sales reports, etc. Is now the #1 provider of chess equipment online with well over one million in sales each year.
